Training for Child Abuse Professionals

In addition to caring for children and families, CARES Northwest also offers training and technical assistance to child abuse professionals.

As a Regional Children’s Advocacy Center (RCAC), we offer the following children’s advocacy centers and child abuse multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) in our region of Oregon. Services include:

  1. Assistance with difficult or complex child abuse evaluations

  2. Education, training and peer review

  3. Consultation

  4. Technical assistance

  5. Referral and information
